Renewal of Vows - April 16, 2008

April 16 marks the anniversary of the approval of the first Franciscans Rule. Each year we as a community renew our vows on that day at Mass. In preparation, we make take April 14-15 as days of recollection.

Jubilee - May 17, 2008

This year we will be celebrating Sister M. Ildefonsa’s and Sister Mary Pacifica’s 70th Jubilee.

Discernment Weekend - May 23-25, 2008

We have finally picked a date for our discernment weekend! If you are a single woman who is a high school graduate and under 40 years of age, please come and join us. The retreat will end with adoration of the Blessed Sacrament all day Sunday and an outdoor Corpus Christi Procession at our Motherhouse in East Peoria, Illinois. Please RSVP by May 10. Recommended donation: $20.00. More details to follow.

Spiritual Workshop - June 7, 2008

Brother Thomas, C.S.J. will speak to the sisters on Pope Benedict XVI encyclical on Christian Hope.

Founders’ Day - July 16, 2008

The Sisters will gather at the Motherhouse to celebrate the 131st anniversary of our founding.

St. Therese Vocation Camp - July 20-23, 2008

The Diocese of Rockford will have a vocation camp for girls entering 7th grade through high school. Three of our Sisters will be helping at the camp this year. If you are in the Rockford diocese and are interested in attending, just click on the link above.

Retreat - July 30-August 6, 2008

We will have our summer annual retreat, with Father Bill Healy, OCD as retreat master.
